Georgia Access Health Insurance Exchange Privacy Policy

The Georgia Access Health Insurance Exchange, also known as Georgia Access, takes your privacy seriously. A summary of our Privacy Policy follows. You can also read the entire policy. Our Privacy Policy tells you what kind of personal information we collect, how we use it, and how we safeguard it.

Information Collection and Use

We collect certain Personally Identifiable Information (PII), like your name, address, email, income information, and citizenship and immigration status, in order to determine eligibility for health coverage and other insurance affordability programs, and to facilitate enrollment in such coverage or programs. We strictly limit our use of the application information you provide to these purposes. You will be asked to provide only the minimum information necessary to determine eligibility for applicable programs or health plans. Your PII will be shared only with those authorized to receive or view it.

When a user visits our website, we also collect information about the visit that does not identify the user personally. We track information such as the domain from which the user is visiting and the user’s browser type. We also collect specific information regarding the user’s session on our website. This includes items such as the date and time of the visit and the pages viewed.

How we Protect Your Personal Information
